Animal Spirit
Animal Spirit is a collection of original artworks by Australian artist Leni Kae, inspired by the beauty, wisdom, and symbolism of animals and birds. Arising from the artist's long-standing connection with Animal Spirit, these works explore the importance of our connection with the natural world, and the ways in which the qualities and symbolism of animals may reflect, reveal, and awaken insights within our own lives.
Featuring Australian birds including magpies, cockatoos, kookaburras, and wrens, alongside other animals, the collection invites viewers to slow down, observe, and reconnect with nature. Through expressive watercolour, acrylic, and mixed-media techniques, each artwork invites the viewer to explore their own connection with the animal, and how it may become a mirror through which they recognise something of themselves.
