“ The Corella takes flight in a moment of openness and movement, wings outstretched as though carried by instinct alone. In this work, I wanted to capture not only the energy of the bird in motion, but the sense of freedom, expressive and playful spirit often associated with the Corella — light, social, and untamed.”
