“The Galah takes flight — wings outstretched, droplets of colour trailing like echoes of spirit. In this work, I wanted to capture not only the bird in motion, but the sense of freedom, joy, and emotional release the Galah carries. Its gentle pinks and soft greys reflect a balance of strength and softness — playful, expressive, and free.
Part of my Animal Spirit series, this work invites a quiet connection with the spirit of the Galah — a reflection of openness, spontaneity, and the freedom to move authentically through change.”
