Online Finalist, Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Prize, 2021

Leni Kae’s portrait artwork “Heart in the Clouds: Ibis Callling” is an online finalist in the Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Prize.

A new surrealist ‘skyscape’ design by Sydney artist Leni Kae, extending from her series “Animal Spirit”. This artwork features pink clouds dripping into the night sky, and an Ibis without stretched wings flying beneath them. The clouds also feature a subtle heart shape. The artwork symbolises letting go of things from the past, hearing the heart’s calling, and flying towards a new beginnings with an open heart.

The artwork size is approx 50cm (W) x 60cm (H). Created using acrylic on canvas. Signed with a certificate of authenticity.
