Finalist, Whitewall Art Prize, 2021
Leni Kae’s artwork “Portrait of a Thinker” is a finalist in the Whitewall Art Prize, 2021.
“Portrait of a Thinker” is a new artwork from a series of introspective portraits created during isolation. They centre on self-thought and meditative moments of healing. This painting is a portrait of Leni Kae’s father-in-law created during a moment of introspection. The white paint drips symbolise the fall of enlightenment that comes after moments of thought.
This artwork will feature as one of the selected 60 FINALISTS for the ‘Into the Light’ Exhibit and inaugural Whitewall Art Prize. The exhibition will highlight diverse and touching themes around Mental Health and raise funds for Lifeline Perth and Macarthur.
